Carol’s financial planning practice focuses on helping women in financial transition including those who are moving from one career to another or those women who find themselves suddenly single through death of a spouse or divorce. She guides women through the maze of financial decisions required, especially during difficult times, to provide strategies which help them plan their path to financial independence. Carol focuses on helping individuals realize their financial goals of educating children or grandchildren, preparing for a secure retirement, creating a legacy for their family or fulfilling philanthropic initiatives. Since 1988 she has been providing financial advice to individuals, couples and business owners. In addition to being a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a Chartered Financial Consultant, Carol is also a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™, a registered representative and an investment advisor representative.

Carol’s financial planning practice has been featured in The New York Times, The News Journal, Delaware Business Ledger, Community News, Forbes.com, MSN.com, and Delaware Today magazine. She has appeared on FOX29’s morning television show as a financial planning specialist and regularly presents seminars on a variety of financial topics of importance to women.

Her non profit involvement includes serving on the Boards of the Delaware Coalition Against Domestic Violence, the Delaware Theatre Company, and theDelaware Financial Literacy Institute where Carol is also a volunteer instructor for the Delaware Money School. For her support of women in the regional business community Carol was named the Women in Business Champion of the Year for 2008 by the Small Business Administration’s Delaware Office and, in recognition of her community involvement, Carol was awarded the 2008 Local Hero Award from the Bank of America. In 2009 Carol was presented with the Bridge Builder of the Year by the National Association of Women Business Owners, Delaware Chapter, for her efforts in creating connections between individuals and organizations to build small businesses and their communities.
